We provide extensive training to enable colleagues to gain the skills they need and to develop in their roles.

When you join Transform, you will complete a tailored induction programme which is designed so you can familiarise yourself with Transform and your role.

You will also complete training to enable you to gain the additional skills and knowledge you need to do your job to the best of your ability.

Your extraordinary opportunities

After two years with Transform, you will have the opportunity to undertake a relevant extended training course.

This could include a college course, Open University degree or professional qualification. You can also request study leave and a contribution towards the cost of the training.

Career development

We support everyone to develop in their roles at Transform and to progress in their career. We provide opportunities for people to gain new skills and experience, for example by joining working groups, shadowing, or taking part in group projects.

Colleagues are also encouraged to develop their ideas with our Innovation Fund, which offers funding for new projects.

At Transform we value the knowledge and experience that people have and always encourage them to apply for internal vacancies that arise. In fact, most of the current local managers progressed from within Transform.

Anna

Service Manager at Pound House

Transform has a very healthy attitude to training. When I first started I felt like I was being relentlessly trained in all sorts of things for about 18 months – it was quite impressive. Since then I’ve been able to request a variety of extra training for areas that are of specific interest to me such as trauma-informed care.”
